What are the 3 keys to the success of a building a credible brand?
--
Some people think you have to bring in $10,000 a month or have a huge following to be successful. Those are part of the success of a business, but let’s not forget about being credible. If you, as a business owner, are credible, you are on your way to long-term success. Technology and social media have increased people’s ability (or bots-people, essentially) to take advantage of others. That’s why being a credible business or person, for that matter, is of high importance, especially when money is involved. As a new business owner, you want to keep in mind three things when developing your brand are your audience, your authenticity, and your consistency. Without these things, your branding strategies won’t be as effective, and two- your audience won’t trust you.
Here are a few things to keep in mind when you’re developing your branding strategy.
AUDIENCE
The message of your brand will not appeal to everyone, and that’s ok. It’s crucial to create content to appeal to your TARGET AUDIENCE. Let go of the idea that you need to be liked by everyone to be successful. Your main objective for your content and strategies is to commit to a specific demographic of people (and no, it’s not discrimination) for your message to have a powerful impact. Remember this: if you do not risk alienating people who are not part of your target audience, you risk not reaching those who are. Your brand’s values should align with your target audiences, and your lifestyle should share a similar dream with theirs.
AUTHENTICITY
Because we are in such a scam-influenced time, it’s imperative for you and your brand to be authentic. Let me repeat it. IT’S IMPERATIVE FOR YO AND YOUR BRAND TO BE AUTHENTIC. Your audience and other consumers can tell when someone is showing a fake pretentious life, and they won’t listen or engage in what you have to say or buy what you’re selling. You don’t have to try to be something you’re not to have a successful brand, just be you. Your audience will appreciate and respect you more because of it. In turn, you are causing them to support you and your business. Easy. Be yourself. Your audience will love you for who you are. Naturally, as people, we have to be convinced; that’s why we read reviews…
